What does the EN 1090-1 certificate actually cover?
Certificate 2787-CPR-01627 is a factory production control certificate to EN 1090-1 for steel structures and components, fabricated to execution class EXC2 under EN 1090-2. It is issued together with a Document of validity as an inseparable pair — we send both on request, with the welding annex.
Which documents ship with the steel?
The Declaration of Performance referencing the harmonised standard; the FPC certificate with its Document of validity; mill test certificates for every heat used; welding procedure specifications with qualification records (WPS/PQR); welder and operator qualification certificates; NDT reports with the technician qualification level; and coating thickness measurement records against the specified ISO 12944 system.
Can our inspector verify the certificates before shipment?
Yes. The certificate number, issuing body and validity date are printed on each certificate shown here, and we operate an open-door policy for third-party inspectors at the factory.
